Tennis champ Serena Williams warns coach Mouratoglou against on-court coaching at the US Open
Ace tennis player Serena Williams has warned her coach Patrick Mouratoglou not even to think about on-court coaching her in the US Open final on Saturday. William plays 19-year-old Canadian Bianca Andresscue in the final of the US Open.
It may be recalled that around twelve months back when Williams was playing against Naomi Osaka, the coach had made a gesture to Williams that was seen by umpire Carlos Ramos. The 23-time Grand Slam winner received a code violation and she argued with the Portuguese umpire. Following the argument, she also smashed her racket which resulted in a point penalty and a deduction in the game after she berated Ramos.
The coach too has admitted that he would not repeat the act if the 37-year-old player needed help against Andresscue. He said, “It's not going to happen, so I won't have to do it again.”
