Sonia Gandhi is CPP leader; Rahul says his 52 MPs are more than enough to fight BJP

Congress president Rahul Gandhi while addressing a Congress Parliamentary Party meet said that his 52 MPs are strong enough to take on the 303 BJP members in the Lok Sabha.
UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi was elected the CPP leader. The meeting was attended by all 52 newly elected Lok Sabha MPs of the Congress along with party’s Rajya Sabha MPs.
He said that the 52 MPs will fight every inch and give the BJP a bumpy ride every day. Referring to policymakers of the BJP Gandhi said, “The use hatred and anger to fight us. You are going to enjoy. We have to be aggressive and still it is time to introspect and rejuvenate.”
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala through a tweet announced Sonia Gandhi as the new CPP leader. He also tweeted her quotes saying Sonia Gandhi thanked the 12.13 crore voters for reposing faith in the Congress party, says a report.
