Rajinikanth’s adventures in Bear Grylls’ survival show to be aired on March 23
The teaser of Discovery Channel’s upcoming show ‘Into the Wild’ shot in Karnataka’s national park with South Indian superstar Rajinikanth and British adventurer Bear Grylls have been released. The episode was shot almost a month back in Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National Park and will be aired on March 23.
Sharing the clip, the channel tweeted, “Gear up to venture into the wilderness of India with survival expert @BearGrylls and the ultimate superstar @Rajinikanth in an action-packed adventure. Premieres 23 March at 8 PM, only on Discovery #ThalaivaOnDiscovery.”
In the 40-second clip, Grylls says, “Prepare yourselves, it’s gonna blow your mind.” While the backdrop narration states, “Deep in the heart of the Indian jungle, it's one man's mission to unravel the man behind the legend.”
In the teaser, Rajinikanth can be seen riding an all-terrain vehicle along with his trademark laughter. Reports claim that during the shooting, Rajinikanth suffered minor injuries after he reportedly tripped over a lantana bush.
With this, Rajinikanth becomes the second Indian personality to be featured on the survival show after Prime Minister Narendra Modi who featured in Gryll’s Man Vs Wild. The PM’s show was shot in February and aired in August last year.
