Pakistanis march towards LoC even as PM Imran Khan urges them to stop

Hundreds of protestors from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) march towards the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday, overruling Prime Minister Imran Khan’s warning not to cross the LoC. On Saturday, the PM had warned the PoK residents that anyone crossing the LoC to provide humanitarian aid or support for Kashmiris will ‘play into the hands of the Indian narrative’.
Urging the people to observe restraint, the PM tweeted, “I understand the anguish of the Kashmiris seeing their fellow Kashmiris in Jammu and Kashmir…. Anyone crossing the LoC to provide humanitarian aid or support for Kashmiri struggle will play into the hands of the Indian narrative.
It may be noted that on the call of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) thousands of people gathered to Muzaffarabad from different parts.
Pakistan is currently trying to internationalize the Kashmir issue but India has asserted that the abrogation of Article 370 was its ‘internal matter’.
Meanwhile, New Delhi has strictly asked Islamabad to stop its anti-India rhetoric and accept the situation. The tension between India and Pakistan escalated after India removed the special status of the state two months back on August 5.
