NTA announces JEE Paper 2 examination results
The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results Paper 2 of second JEE Main examination of 2019 on Wednesday on its official website jeemain.nic.in.
The answer keys for JEE paper 2 were already released a day before. It was for the first time that NTA conducted JEE Main twice in a year. Those who clear the examination will be able to get admission to courses in Architecture and planning.
The JEE Main 2019 April edition was conducted throughout the country and abroad on April 7,8,9, 10 and 12 through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. About 9,58,619 candidates registered for the said examination. NTA released JEE Main result for paper 1 on April 29, 2019, says a report.
A total of 1,69,725 candidates appeared for the examination that took place on April 7. 24 students scored a perfect 100 percentile out of which 15 are from January batch while the remaining 9 are from the April batch.
Reports claim that the NTA adopted the Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score for announcing the results. The process is a practice for comparing candidate’s scores across multi-session papers.
