MS Dhoni, Jharkhand CM Soren inaugurate facilities at JCAS
Former Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated a solar power system and other facilities at the Jharkhand Cricket Association Stadium (JCAS) in Ranchi on Wednesday.
The other facilities including a state-of-the-art gymnasium, C3 Fitness Club and The Uptown Cafe were also opened for the members at the Jharkhand Cricket Association Stadium complex.
On the occasion, a different side of Captain Cool was witnessed as the two dignitaries also tried whistling using spring onion leaves. The two also tried out some dishes and had coffee at the new restaurant within the complex. The photographs of the same were tweeted by the official handle of the Chief Minister’s Office.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhoni congratulated CM Soren for his outstanding performance in the recently held elections. He also said that the glory of the state spreads not only in the country but also to the entire world under the able leadership of CM Soren. He also advised the local players to practice with diligence and play Ranji matches and also represent India.
Chipping in Soren added, “I am happy today to get the opportunity to inaugurate the facilities as Chief Minister. The foundation of the stadium was laid by Guruji (father Shibu Soren) and it is an example of the result of the work started by Guruji.”
The CM also added that the state government will work to fulfill the dreams of the youth of Jharkhand and that the sportspersons, education, and employment are the priority of the government.
