Maharashtra political drama dominates social media

After Tuesday’s political drama that settled down the dust in Maharashtra and members of 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly taking oath on Wednesday, social media is dominated with tweets and retweets on the scenario. The netizens are closely following every move of the happenings in Maharashtra and even raising their concerns over social issues.
The social media on Wednesday was busy with the fiery political and non-political hashtags including, #MahaTwist, #NoMoreBJP, #BJPMuktBharat, #BhagwaTwitter, and #SurgeInFakeRapeCases.

A twitter user, Namrata Giri wrote, “It’s about time to do away with the role of President and Governor from Civics books in school. It's fiction. A man without conscience and intellect can't shouldn't and mustn't be the supreme commander of the armed forces.” Apart from such tweets, users have been sharing memes and videos to highlight political doings between various political parties. Some have even gone to the extent of calling NCP supremo Sharad Pawar a ‘Gangster’.

The netizens are trolling NCP’s Ajit Pawar who first ditched his uncle Sharad Pawar and the party to join hands with Devendra Fadnavis to form a government last week and then dumped him as well to go back to the party. Ajit Pawar's changing of loyalties finally led to Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackrey taking oath as the Chief Minister on Tuesday evening.
