Hrithik, Deepika could play Lord Rama and Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana

After essaying the role historic roles in films like Jodhaa Akbar and Mohenjodaro, Hrithik Roshan could now be seen in the lead role of mythological adaption of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Reports reveal that the actor with Greek god looks has given a nod for the same.
The live-action triology will be co-directed by MOM director Ravi Udyawar and produced by Madhu Mantena, Allu Aravind and Namit Malhotra.
The Rs 500 crore 3D movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati and Punjabi films and will have a global audience. There are talks that Deepika Padukone will play the lead role of Sita.
Speaking on the subject, Tiwari said, “I am looking forward to work in Ramayana, something that I am really excited about. It is a challenge for me as I have a sense of responsibility to bring the project in its true form of glory for the country.”
