Cong Sehore Chief Ratan Singh suffers stroke at LS result counter; Dies

Congress’ Sehore District chief Ratan Singh suffered a major stroke at the vote counting centre and died after being shifted to the hospital.

The news of his demise went viral immediately and even BJP activists have tweeted their condolences. One of the tweets read, “In a tragic incident, Congress’ Sehore district
Chief Ratan Singh has died of heart attack at a voting counter centre. Om shanti.” Similarly, Chowkidar Vikram Singh also tweeted “@INCIndia leader Ratan Singh passes away due to Heart Attack at counting centre in Madhya Pradesh.”

Singh was gathering information on trends at the counting centre when he felt uncomfortable at the counting centre. He reportedly complained about chest pain and collapsed. He was rushed to the nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
