Chennai boy reads, writes 106 languages
An eight-year-old Chennai boy can read and write as many as 106 languages. Niall Thoguluva learnt the languages with the help of internet – especially the YouTube.
He is also a pro with the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), a skill required to transcribe the sound of any spoken language to know its pronunciation. Speaking about his unique talent this polyglot says, “I do not know how I became inclined towards languages. I can read and write over 106 languages and speak 10 languages fluently. I am presently learning five new languages and teaching pronunciation to his parents.”
Nialla said that his interest in languages started developing last year. He made extensive use of internet and graduated from one language to another to another.
