Board examinations re-postponed due to lockdown 4.0
After the Centre extended
the nationwide lockdown till May 31, many states have again postponed their
pending examination once again. Board examinations, including the Central Board
of Secondary Education (CBSE), were put off half-way across the country after
the lockdown was imposed on March 25 owing to the Coronavirus pandemic.
On Monday, the Kerala government announced the postponement of all pending examinations that were to be held between May 21 and May 29 till June. The examinations were to be held for Class 10, Class 11, and Class 12 examination. The fresh dates for the June examination will be announced later.
The CBSE has retained its last revised schedule of examination dates for the remaining 29 papers for Class 10 and Class 12. The examination will be held from July 1 to July 15 at various centres across the country.
