Ambani's Pre-Diwali bash

Ambani's throw a lavish pre-Diwali bash for family, friends and cricket team they own

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita organised a lavish pre-Diwali bash for family, friends and their Mumbai Indians IPL team at the Jio World Centre, Mumbai on Thursday. The 2019 Diwali holds a special significance for the senior Ambani couple as it is their twin kids’ first festival with their respective spouses.

Isha Ambani Piramal arrived with husband Anand and in-laws dressed gracefully in a light-weight mint green Sabyasachi saree with illustrated floral motifs carefully weaved in pure zari and a maroon velvet zardozi blouse. For accessories, she wore an uncut diamonds, pearls and emerald drop neckpiece with matching jhumkas and kadas. Isha chose a half-up, half-down haido and a metallic look for her face.

Isha’s new sister-in-law Shloka looked gorgeous in pink brocade lehenga and an embroidered blouse designed by Swati and Sunaina. She accessorised with diamonds and a mangalsutra with a necklace with pink detailing. Her only additions to the facial makeup were the kohled eyes, lightly brushed rosy cheeks and nude pink lips. Her husband Akash stuck to simple purple brocade kurta. Amidst this younger generation of Ambanis, Nita Ambani was seen in heavily embroidered pink and gold lehenga-kurti teamed with two-layered emerald neckpiece, earpieces and kadas. Mukesh Ambani looked dapper in kosa pyjama kurta with an orange jacket. Also present was Kokilaben Ambani dressed elegantly in a pink and white saree and a matching pink clutch.

The party was attended by cricketers including Mahela Jayawardene, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and others. Actor Hazel Keech arrived with former-cricketer and husband Yuvraj Singh dressed in black one-shoulder top, blue lehenga and an orange dupatta. Yuvraj, on the other hand, was in black kurta-pyjama and a red stole.

Actress Sagarika Ghatge, dressed in a stunning red dress and black golden dupatta and a high ponytailed tugged lovingly at hubby Zahir Khan’s arm. Zaheer was seen in a shimmery black kurta pyjama.
