Akshay Kumar resumes work; attends digital script narration, shoots for health ministry
Actor Akshay Kumar resumed
work from Tuesday taking advantage of the digital medium and attended a script
narration for Nikkhil Advani’s Bell Bottom.
Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani sharing an image of their Zoom meeting wrote, “Nothing changes for @akshaykumar during #Lockdown 6am final narration of #BellBottom.” Advani also tagged writers Ranjit Tiwari and Aseem Arora, along with producers Jaccky and Vashu Bhagnani.”The shooting was carried out after taking prior permission and practicing all norms such as maintaining social distancing, sanitising and hygiene protocols, wearing masks and face shields, and minimum crew members. Reports said that the entire crew had to pass through a disinfection tunnel and had to get their temperatures checked by medical personnel in PPE suits.
The movie is a spy thriller and is slated for a January 2021 release.
Meanwhile, on Monday, the actor also shot for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s advertisement on ‘post-lockdown responsibilities’ at Kamalistan studio in Mumbai with filmmaker R Balki.
The actor said "This is an ad for the health ministry featuring Akshay Kumar about the post lockdown responsibilities of each one of us. We need to get back to work but ensure our safety and those of others. So at our shoot we did the same."
