32-yr-old Guj man poses as old man to board a flight to New York from IGI airport

A 32-year-old Gujarati man coloured his hair and beard white and arrived on a wheelchair to board the New York-bound flight at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Sunday. He has been arrested by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

A resident of Ahmedabad Jayesh Patel was using a fake passport with the name of 81-year-old Amrik Singh. His passport (T-7372549) bore February 1, 1938, as his date of birth. The CISF got suspicious during the frisking duty as he was evading eye contact. He was then put through detailed checks after which his original identity was revealed.

CISF said that the man’s skin texture looked much younger and he was wearing zero-power glasses to conceal his age. It is not yet clear as to what led him to commit the act.
He was later handed over to immigration officials.
