Bhaijaan of Bollywood Salman Khan spent his first night at Jodhpur Central Jail as prisoner no. 106, after he was sentenced guilty of poaching two blackbucks back in 1998 while shooting for his movie Hum Saath-Saath Hain. The court sentenced him to five years in Jail. His bail request will be heard today. Salman’s lawyer has kept his bail papers ready and hearing will take place at 10:30 am on Friday. Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, and Neelam were acquitted from the case due to lack of evidence.

Salman Khan found guilty on Thursday in 20 years old black buck poaching case. There was a heavy security at the Jodhpur Central Jail due to superstar’s presence.
Salman shot two blackbucks in October 1998 near the village of the Bishnoi community while shooting for Hum Saath-Saath Hain. Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali Bendre, and Tabu were also present during the poaching event.
Members of the Bishnoi community filed the case against all five stars and celebrated Salman’s conviction on Thursday.
Salman is kept alone in the prison and no one is allowed to meet him. Also, he has his personal guards in the jail. Salman’s family could meet him only once in a week.
On Friday morning, his lawyer will request Salman’s bail.
If his bail request is refused, he has to stay in jail for three more days because the court will reopen on Monday.
There is nearly Rs.600 crores riding on Salman’s upcoming movies and the verdict will have direct impact at least three big projects, Race 3, Dabangg 3, and Bharat.
Several stars from Bollywood like Jaya Bacchan, Subhash Ghai, and Arjun Rampal declared their disappointment at the verdict and backed Salman.
