Interesting facts about “102 Not Out” – Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor’s Movie | Comedy-drama

While the Indian Cinema has got several young talents in the industry, still, some superstars are ruling the Bollywood even today; and the two superstars leading the list are none other than Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. Both the stars have worked together in several movies like Ajooba (1991), Dosti Dushmani (1986), Coolie (1983), Naseeb (1981), Kabhi Kabhi (1976), Chala Murari Hero Banne (1977), and Amar Akbar Anthony (1977).


The bonding between both the stars was highly appreciated by the audiences and critics as well. Now, the two power superstars are doing a comeback with comedy-drama film “102 Not Out”. Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor will be featuring as “cool 102-year old father” and “old school son”, respectively. The film is directed by Umesh Shukla, who earlier directed ‘Oh My God’ starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.

“102 Not Out” is produced by Benchmark Pictures, Treetop Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Entertainment India; and written by Saumya Joshi. If reports are to be believed, Big B will give his voice for a Song ‘Badumba’.

It will be interesting to see Big B and Chintuji portraying Gujarati characters playing the role of father and son. Audiences have seen the stars as friends and brothers, but, not as father-son.


Rishi Kapoor has been seen last in “Kapoor & Sons” portraying a role of grandfather. The next upcoming movie of Amitabh Bacchan is “Thugs of Hindostan” starring Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.

The fist look of the film has been released on social media and fans have already started the countdown. The first look is very quirky where Rishi Kapoor is coming out of an egg shell while Big B is laughing mischievously at his on-screen son.
