BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha was shown black flags by local party on Friday after he shared the stage with Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and social welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam among other AAP leaders at the launch of a vocational skill development programme for manual scavengers.
Apart from praising Sisodia for bringing a revolution in education, but, Sinha also indirectly hit out at the BJP’s leadership with a famous poem of Dushyant Kumar.
BJP workers somehow managed to sneak inside the office of district magistrate, where they shown black flags to BJP MP. A group of AAP workers also raised slogans to counter the BJP.
“The AAP government is doing a wonderful job. Manish Sisodia is the country’s most distinguished education minister and other states should learn from him to reform this sector. Delhi government zindabad, AAP zindabad, Delhi zindabad, Jai Bihar and Jai Hind,” Sinha said, which also fuelled the rumours that he will be a strong candidate for AAP for the northeast Delhi Lok Sabha Seat in 2019 elections.
Praising the health and education systems of AAP government, Sinha said, "The states should approach the AAP government and Manish Sisodia and learn from them if they want to improve the standard of education in their areas”.
He also came forward defending Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu over his criticism for his recent visit to Pakistan to attend oath ceremony of Imran Khan and said, “There is nothing controversial in it”.
